Hello!! Thank you for visiting this masterpiece of a website which I most definitely did not enlist a robot to help me build! I am very much looking forward to getting to know the people in this class and learning more about music and culture. I wrote in my song submission that I love Mumford and Sons and I fear I have mislead you all. I am obsessed with Mumford and Sons. I go through phases where I only listen to them and nothing else for days! I don't know what it is about their sound and the men behind it but I am in love with it and cannot get enough. That being said, I also have another few favorite musicians that don't quite go along with the folk rock theme. I adore John Williams and Alexandre Desplat as composers, I am amazed at their ability, especially Williams, to take you on a journey through a song. I know that sounds quite cheesy, but I genuinely feel transported to Hogwarts or Tataouine when I listen to his scores. Jumping to an entire other realm, I also can be found listening to trap music any day. My musical tastes are many and varied if you haven't caught on and I like it that way because no matter how I'm feeling, one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite genres will work with it.

Outside of music, not that there is really any time in my life without it, there are many other facets of me. I love to travel and meet new people and experience new things. The world is such a huge place, and who says we are bound to the corner of it that we were dropped in? I am a certified yoga instructor as well as a retired barrel racer. I love macaroni and cheese like I love animals (fiercely), and I have always wanted to play the violin but never learned. My favorite book is Me Before You and yes, I am aware that that may sound cliché or basic, but the story speaks for itself and I try to live by it every day. My comfort movies are The Help, Pride and Prejudice, and a terrible Netflix original called Revenge of the Bridesmaids. I want to rehabilitate and release injured animals as a career and I'm not quite sure how to get paid for it yet but I'm sure I'll work that out. I am passionate about human rights and equality only slightly more than I am about fashion and celebrities.
